Right now my best bet is when he leaves this place, then I'll finally be free to get over him completely.
After painfully breaking up with my ex, I saw him everywhere, as in those things that reminded me of him. It was a nightmare, but it's been almost a year now and I can walk free without hurting over him. So yeah, even though I thought I could never get over someone that I really love, I did it eventually. The face and those emotions will definitely fade over time.
When this current guy finally leaves this place, I'll completely close my heart from falling madly for anyone. It'll be a long time until I let myself open up easily once again. No more unrequited feelings.
