An Excellent Night Alone

My idea of a good night? Listening to excellent club music loudly on the headphones while creating awesome visuals. Well here's one I made, although I haven't reached that level of awesomeness yet, but I'll be heading in that direction :p

And below is the music I've been listening to on repeat, lol.

Excuse the boobs in the video, ahem.

Depressing

That feeling sucks, when people don't trust your sense of art. Last time people used to entrust me with those jobs. Nowadays, it feels like everyone is against me. Criticizing, giving the job to someone else instead and humiliating me. I feel like I've lost a huge part of myself. A part of me has died inside, along with my creativity probably.

The Eyes Make All The Difference

Never gonna do this kinda animation in Photoshop again though, too many layers. Lol.

Observe and Speak!

So I was riding in the taxi from the office to get back home, and a random idea occured to me. It's not exactly like how I pictured it in my head just now, but oh well. Here's my second random animation. I also thought of including the reference images that I used for the second animation below. Personally, I don't think it's as nice as the one above though.

Don't Push That Button!

Easing Back In

Honestly, I need to spend more time with personal projects than time wasted worrying about petty stuff. I've been picking up my tablet again, after fixing up the desk for my pc. I'm feeling a bit rusty with the pen and photoshop, but I'm starting to ease into that state of mind again - that free flow of random ideas. I must put my creativity to use again, just like how it used to be back then. It's a bit tough starting up my engine, but I'll get there. I just need to draw some small stuff, then the big ideas will come back to me :)

Haha I tried out Photoshop CS5's animation features. This animation's really rough though. But still, it's pretty cool to be able to do this. Shit, now I can't stop looking at this obnoxious looping stickman.
